initially i wasnt enjoying this game but now I have got really into it, so much so i am near the end, but i am stuck and unsure how to progress.
I have 2 quests on my log. Disrupt the Directors Attack Talk with Mia with regards disrupting the shadows
this 2nd one is throwing me, everytime i talk to Mia and we go to the city, she is spotted by a shadow and we run away and go back to the hut, I cannot see a way of progressing further in the game, can anyone advise please?
When you are with me in the city. wait and watch the shadows. They'll turn around in certain intervals and that's when Mia can pass without getting spotted.
so between the last demo and the full release... minus what what was said about the release what all changed? like did any scenes change ( dont need specifics ) but were there any major changes?
I haven't played the full game but I played all the demos and oh my god they were insanely good is there anyway to play the latest free demo or are they gone for good
Just completed the game, and just wanted to say what a great game! Will for sure buy your next games too, once they are further in development. If some day MIST will also be on Steam (Does not seems like it), then i will for sure buy it again. Great story! And i loved the survival aspect of the game. Will for sure replay it again in a few years.
I just reached the end of the game and what can I say? It was awesome, in every aspect.
Starting with the plot, the feeling of fear and terror about what is happening from the beginning, the horror parts, the survival aspect not too difficult even in the scavenge mode but still challenging in some ways. Fights are not too difficult as well, but require a bit of strategy anyway, especially in the early part of the game.
Locations and graphics play a big role in making a good atmosphere along with sounds and music well placed. Some of them are really intriguing as well as terrifying, but that's exactly what anyone would expect from such a peculiar game.
All the characters are well made, greatly expressive and you can easily love them from the very first meeting. Also, their background and past story is very immersive, well written and makes you love them even more.
Everything works fine, even tho maybe some input lags are to be noted on the mobile version when you go on an expediton and during/after some cutscenes, but nothing of extremely annoying, just a second or two in delay.
One of the best visual novels I've ever played, one that will stay in a special place and on my phone for a long time.
I really am glad to have found such a piece of art, especially now that I recently found out how much I love these kind of novels.

So, I just got this a little bit ago and downloaded and I have a question. I checked the folder after I downloaded it and it has 2 different applications. MIST and MIST 32. What is the difference? Sorry if this has already been addressed, just want to make sure I'm playing the correct one.
This is one of the best games I have ever played and that list is in the 800+ range. It was fun the entire time. I played it nearly non stop until it was done and forgot about all the other games I had.
Bought this game a long time ago, but I just got around to finishing it, and I got say this is a phenomenal Visual Novel with survival and fighting elements. If anyone is even remotely interested in buying I certainly recommend it. Already bought Children of Morn too and can't wait to play that!
Phenomenal gameplay and character development. I genuinely cared about the characters and the protagonist. The adult scenes were good as well, but without the story around them, it would just be a string of out of context clips.
I read about the article that MIST is available on steam but I've searched a few times and can't find it, even if I click on the link in your article or enter the game name, can you check again because I don't know why? I couldn't find it
After the third review of the game (2/3 went fine) some valve employee arbitrarily decided the game was against their TOS and outright banned it without any prior notice. After asking a bunch of times if I could do something to fix it and then appeal, they told me that they don't allow appeals in general and refuse to give out any further information.
Steam sometimes are very shitty, sometimes they just refuse some games sale on their platform and didn’t give any reason and chance or just ignore,non-respond. 😨
I’ve already noticed some devs has the same situation like yours.
My bank account has been hacked on multiple sites, so I only use things like steam to make purchases online. repsites use safe transactions that normally prevent your bank account from getting hacked. after the last hack which put me in massive amount of debt, I only trust rep sites. itch and patreon were two sites I got hacked on. deleted my patreon account and only hunted for free games or games that end up on steam
Absolutely fantastic game. Marvellous. The story is so immersive. The scenes are very well done. The detailing is very intricate. You can see the difference e.g. the body of girls before and after bath, sun shaders, the small torn pieces of clothing etc. Each girl has a different personality and a certain appeal. The gameplay isn't very complicated, not to mention, you don't have to fear making a wrong choice as it will not impact the scenes. Game also has a quest log so you don't get lost. Definitely one-of-a kind for me. Simply outstanding!

Sorry, I only play games once and don't look back. In addition its pretty lengthy so a walkthrough would take a lot of work. Trust me and just play it, it even gives you a choice to have an easy mode where you don't have to worry about food. Just follow the quest log to progress the story and talk to the girls when they have new dialogue. Good luck clickin away!
Like the description? YES. This is probably the best game of this genre that I have ever played. you REALLY get attached to the characters, and the story is amazing. I've played a lot of adult visual novels, and this one is up there with Being a Dik.

slight issue, whenever there be a sex scene or somethin it goes black until its over i tried the gal to see if it was just at that moment glitch but it happened there to how do i fix it
That sounds like you might have to change the renderer Ren'Py is using. Try switching it to anything else and see if that helps. Apart from that using third party software to alter or play the game could also lead to bugs. But I don't know if that applies to your case.
I'm stuck in a loop. I'm in cell c-03 my training meter is at 4/5. then I sleep and get tortured and my health goes down toe -32 and the whole scene resets and I'm back to 56 health and 0/5 training. I'm on 1.0.3 . Any ideas about getting pas this loop?
I have trouble selecting the map to start exploring, only the border seems to work. When I visually compare the bed_idle with map_idle, then I see an infill on the bed and not on the map. So I fixed it by infilling the map_idle with a slight opacity white and that seems to work for me. Not sure if others have the same issue?
I really enjoyed this game, but I have a couple questions. Are the models your own design? Also, what software did you use for them? I am just curious, as I am thinking of developing my own game and trying to get input on where to get good models.
I'm using a customized basemodel for the bodies than add the hair and eyes, clothes, textures and do the rigging for all the added parts. and I made them mainly in Blender, textures in Substance Painter.
Nice game! The biggest plus is the quality and quantity of lewd animations, those are really awesome. The general story is well written and unpredictable. While the theme is definetely survival, gameplay is more akin to survival light; don't expect an intricate survival game experience. It's quite easy to survive, even on the more difficult setting. It never felt grindy and I like it when devs don't neglect the game side of their adult games. Lewds are nicely interweaved into the gameplay and there's a lot of variety in terms of situations and motivations for them.
Some aspects of the game weighed it down a bit: First, the general story is good but the line-to-line writing could be improved upon. I found it hard to really resonate with the characters. Second, the game can feel really unpolished sometimes: Spelling mistakes, the UI not working as it should, tedious clicking through menus, lack of attention to detail... All of these issues would be fine individually but they collectively stand out negatively.
EDIT: Having played more games in the meantime, I realized that the issues I'm mentioning here are still quite minor. I'm upping my rating from 8 to 9.
