I have to say, i wasn't really expecting too much with this game but my god was i surprised. I have enjoyed it so much! Not only the sexual aspect of it but the story was really good! A big shout out to the author for making this, this was probably one of the best purchases of my life.
Just finished the game. Like others have said "Come for the tits, stay for the story." and I'm really glad I stayed.
The writing is awesome. All of the girls have real, unique personalities with their own quirks, skills, flaws and traumas. They all feel like real people.
The last... act, for lack of a spoiler-free way of saying it, has several really heartfelt conversations that really pulled me in and might have even had me falling for the girls. Robin and Mia in particular. They're my kind of gals.
If I had one complaint about the game, it would be that a few too many of those heartfelt moments turn into fuckfests a bit too abruptly. By that point in the story, I was in a "I don't want to be horny. I want to be happy." mood. If there was more of a separation between the touchy-feely emotional stuff and the, ahem, touchy-feely physical stuff, it wouldn't have been much of a problem.
So yeah, good game. I got the game for free, and I normally have a rule about never paying for something I can get for free. But I think I might just have to break that rule; I think the dev's earned my 15 dollars.
I'm really glad I got to play it before the price got added. It was so good, 10/10 story, 10/10 characters 10/10 terrain designs i loved every single bit of it. I can't wait for the next project.
I actually really like how chill the girls all are about the whole situation.
I mean, it took a bit and considering the situation, it makes a lot more sense then not that they'd just go with the flow, but Lily is SSSUUUPPPEEERRR chill, and I love it.
The soundtrack is one of the few things I didn't make myself. I know that the licenses allow me to use it for the game, but I don't think I'm allowed to redistribute the files. So no. I sadly can't include the soundtrack to be downloaded.

Half of the games from "Kagura Games" and other Japanese publishers have scenes with "genuine loli" (of course, there is a short information in the game that all characters are over 18 etc., but as I can see Steam does not pay attention to it) and they are looking for something like that here.
I don't see them banning "Evenicle" or "The time I got reincarnated as orc". If I were the creator, I would report all these games and see if the big publishers are treated in the same way as the small ones, because it doesn't look like it.

Don't worry. I really like petite characters in my games and will continue to include them, but I'll look for a way to incorporate them without risking anything in regards to steam. Steam really is the biggest market and losing it hurts a whole lot.
I'm sure you've already thought about the option of releasing cut-down SFW versions of your (current and future) game(s) on Steam and hosting a "content restoration patch" on a third-party site? Seems to work for a lot of devs and Steam gladly turns a blind eye as long as you're not too obvious about the patch.
I'm not sure whether that option is still on the table for MIST, though. I've seen a handful of games that got rejected by Steam, tried to get onto the platform again as a SFW version and then got shot down again. Seems they're wary of you if your game has already been rejected once.

Consider that like many other NSFW games its development was already fully financed by patreon. I agree that this game has to be paid in its full release version, but 14.99 USD at launch, without any kind of launch discount, is a bit overpriced for a Ren'Pysurvival game...
Congratulations on finishing the game, I played it myself in one loooong sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. Each of the girls were all rendered beautifully and the animations were smooth and fluid giving amazing visuals during and outside of the animated scenes. All in all every element of this game made it a true work of art and a great experience to play, take pride in yourself for creating a truly amazing game :)

Hey, just wanted to give my condolences for not being able to get the game on Steam.
The fact that Steam put the kibosh on the release while Patreon doesn't seem to have any problem with it kinda tells the same story I've been hearing from a lot of developers: Whether you can get a NSFW game on Steam REALLY depends on which curator gets assigned to interpret the rules in your individual case. For example, I know that Monolith Bay (also on Itch) has tried to get on Steam multiple times, and failed - and with that game's content, I see even less of a potential conflict with Steam's NSFW rules.
There's also the issue of Steam curators being willing to work closely with bigger developers to get their game conforming to Steam rules while smaller developers just get told outright that their game is banned. So while it's probably a massive let-down for you, perhaps you can take some comfort in the fact that you're in good company, at least.
Anyways, if you're looking for additional (mainstream) stores to sell the game on, I'd suggest trying GOG. They can be hard to work with sometimes, but they've opened up to adult games recently and from what I'm hearing, they're way more open to all kinds of content.
Steam basically went from not accepting any NSFW content to allowing all NSFW content, to allowing NSFW content but imposing a couple of very strict guidelines. That's why Evenicle got accepted back in the day, but Evenicle 2 wasn't now.

My only regret in playing this was the fact that by the time I found it and binged it over a weekend, you were already sending out the 0.11 so I couldn't really support it. But by far in terms of story, and graphics, I think this is my favorite gem that I've found on here.
I would like to echo much of the praise here given by others. This is my first comment on Itch.io but I'm glad its on this project. I am thoroughly impressed by all of the small additions this game makes above what a normal renpy game would do. The panning camera through explorations, actions taken by the MC (such as chopping trees), and even the sexy time scenes are all so incredibly smooth. The lighting and shadows were always amazing. Keeping the darkness of night or underground tense and never being oversaturated in the light. I joke with my friends often that Hideo Kojima was a film director who wandered into a game development studio and I want to give you the same praise. The "game mechanics" of Mist are simple but any minute nitpick about that is vastly overshadowed by the story, writing, and as mentioned previously the camera work (both animations and the various stills). I loved the characters, and the interactions between them. You struck a great balance between keeping it intense/serious/high-stakes and comedic with the banter between them. Thank you very much for this experience and I wish you the best of luck on whatever it is you decide to do next. I very much will look forward to it!

Saying this game is awesome is an understatement, the story is really catching and actually interesting, the gameply mechanic is nice and the scenes are god tier. I came here to wank and stayed for the story.
I am sad that I don't have the spare cash to support this game, but thanks for keeping this game free. honestly, I was surprised that a game of this quality could be completely free. I have been here not too long, just as the main story update dropped, but knowing that this is one of the most popular games in the "adult" genre on itch is really inspiring, and I look forward to being one of the first to download any new projects (itch releases, of course!) but what I can do to help is that some of the text in the game that is longer than three lines goes of-screen, and i have to look in the history to see what it says, I know that for this game since it is already complete, it doesn't matter too much. Just something to keep in mind for future projects. :)
